On the other side of the Irish Sea Diesel ( Ir Ch Sherrygold Prince of Harlem An Ch 13, CW 13, 14, Jun Ch) continues his winning ways by taking Green Star Dog and Best of Breed at his last two shows, Bray Championship Show last weekend under judge D Smith and ILKA today under judge Mr J Walsh. Many thanks to both judges to thinking so highly of our boy and also of course to his owner Sarah Blount for loving and handling him so beautifully and finally to Sally Burns for her all her help with his presentation.
Fabulous day judging Standard Poodles at the very special Windsor Championship Dog Show. Committee were so welcoming to me and mum and I had the pleasure of judging some wonderful dogs. Very proud of my final line up, a fabulous white male for BOB who just won over a super black girl who won best of her sex, a promising puppy bitch and a delightful veteran girl at 10 yrs old as best veteran and flying the flag proudly for the oldies. Flying the flag for Sherrygold on the other side of the Irish Sea today at the Irish Kennel Club Celtic Winners Show (St Patrick’s Day Show) Diesel ~ Sherrygold Prince Of Harlem again won Best of Breed gaining his Celtic Winners Title for the second year running. Massive congratulations to Sarah Blount & Diesel and also grateful thanks Sally Burns for all her help over the past twelve months. We couldn’t have done it without your support :)
Cara handles 9 year old Petal ~ Ch Wightwonder Flower Power to 1st place in Veteran Bitch today at Crufts 2014. Taking second place was her kennelmate 11 year old Rosie ~ Ch Wightwonder Rosie Glow. In Special Junior Bitch Gilda ~ Sherrygold Devil’s Blast At Valetta won VHC.
Really proud of Cara today; after 12 years of aspiring to and working towards, she is now qualified as a Championship Show Judge and is now on the Poodle Council A3 list supported by the Poodle Council to give CC’s in all three sizes of Poodles (Subject to KC approval). Congratulations love, so proud of you :) xx
Victoria and Sunshine had a very tiring but very exciting day today! At their first ever show, British Toy Poodle Club 2014, Victoria only 6 months old today, won Minor Puppy Bitch and Sunshine, just a month older, came second in her class, Puppy Bitch AOC. They thoroughly enjoyed their day out and so did we. Just love showing puppies, such fun.
Had a really lovely girlie day with Tash and Cara, and seeing the grandchildren Abi & Rhys for lunch and getting our new puppies ready for ringcraft training on Monday. It’s very tiring being a show dog though when you are only a baby !!
